"HE'S A COMPOSER WHOSE COMPOSITIONAL VOICE CAN BE SIMPLY DESCRIBED AS 'UNIQUE' IN ITS ABILITY TO BE BOTH CREATIVELY EXPANSIVE AND STRIKINGLY MEMORABLE".
Daniel first began composing music under the tutelage of Bruce Rowlatt and Colin Prichard. He initially began composing works for Brass, and Wind Orchestras, until it was suggested that he look into film scoring. ​Upon graduation from secondary school, Daniel moved to Canberra to study Composition for Film and Video Games at the Australian National University (ANU) under the careful guidance of renowned American film composer Prof. Kenneth Lampl.
His craft would continue to develop and grow through his studies and in 2019 was one of eight finalists for the Artology Fanfare Competition, recording his works with the Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO). Through this program, he won the 2019 ATYP Sound Design Scholarship.

Through opportunities at ANU and Daniel's eagerness to further excel in his abilities, he began collaborating with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), and independent filmmakers, and in 2021 collaborated with Kenneth Lampl on the short film 'Tikkun Olam', which received 14 international awards, as well as selection in the Sedona International Film Festival and the 2021 Annual Seema Summit.
Daniel is now working as an in-house composer for Fallen Horse Productions.

At the end of 2024, Daniel graduated from the Australian National Film and Television School where during his time in the Masters in Screen Arts: Composition course scored 14 films, one of which was his directorial debut 'Ferryman' - beginning a multiple-disciplined film career, continued through into Daniel's upcoming next short film, 'Night Time'. ​​

Daniel continues to work in Sydney, on many new films and scores - notably director Diego Saram's next film, Downpour.
